Apple-flavoured beer, ridiculous amounts of homemade sushi, face masks and lemon tea and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, and so much love and laughter as self care.
Sunday night family dinners started out as just something we did when everyone had time, but now we do it every week, even if some of us can’t make it or we only have time to eat and then go our separate ways. But damn, it heals my soul in the biggest way and washes away the stress of the week gone by. Loving life a lot tonight.

On this beautiful evening I rearranged the living room with Mim, made sushi and filled the kitchen with love with Momma Bear and Daddy Bear and the third baby bear, and then feasted on it with the whole family. Then we walked to the corner store for slurpees and sugary treats, and now everyone is safe and warm in their beds.
We really are a family that knows how to de-stress via huge meals and sweets and unconditional lovin’.
